Charlie, in memorium

This sweet Airedale Terrier is Charlie, who passed away last month. His loving owner provided me with some of Charlie's fur to incorporate into the sculpture. I was also given Charlie's coat, which I took a sample of and made a mini dog coat.

"I just wanted to put into words how utterly grateful I was in (you) morphing my beautiful Charlie into a memorial piece.

... You have managed to get the scale right, the colour just right and the expression just perfect. Even down to his eyes... he always had a little wayward curl that would slightly cover one eye to give it a rather dreamy expression and that shows in the face of the sculpture."
