My first felt dog

I came across this book purely by chance called Fleece Dog. A beautiful Japanese book on needle felting miniature dogs. I was intrigued and I wanted to try it out myself.

So I went onto the internet to see if I could find somewhere local to get my supplies. I found a wonderful lady named Sandra who has a shop called Winterwood Toys where I bought all the tools and materials I would need to start needle felting.

And here is my first creation:

I used my dog Marlee as my muse.
